Satan's 3 Pillars of Sin

Pride. Possessions. Passions.

Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the father is not in him.for everything in the world--the CRAVINGS OF SINFUL MAN, the LUST OF THE EYES, and the boasting of what HE HAS and DOES--comes not from the Father but from the world. The world and all its desires pass away, but the man who does the will of God lives forever.

1JN 2:16-17

Flee from sexual immorality. All other sins a man commits are outside his body, but he who sins sexually sins against his body. Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought with a price; therefore honor God with your body.

1 Cor. 6:18-20

It is God's will that you be sanctified: that you should avoid sexual immorality; that each of you should learn to control his own body in a way that is holy and honorable, not in passionate lust like the heathen, who do not know God; and that in this matter no one should wrong his brother or take advantage of him.

No king is saved by the size of his army; no warrior escapes by his great strength. A horse is a vain hope for deliverance; despite all it's strength it cannot save. But the eyes of the Lord are on those who fear him, on those whose hope is in his unfailing love, to deliver them from death and keep them alive in famine. Ps 33:16:19

Jer 9:23

Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the Lord our God. Ps 20:7

Cursed is the one who trusts in man, who depends on flesh for his strength and whose heart turns away from the Lord. He will be like a bush in the wastelands; he will not see prosperity when it comes. He will dwell in the parched places of the desert, in a salt land where no one lives. But blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in Him. He will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit. Jer 17:5-8

Tell me, what do you have in your house? "your servant has nothing there at all," she said, "except a little oil." (she collected jars from neighbors and God filled jars with oil. She then sold them to meet her needs) what is in your hand?

For the son of man came to seek and to save that which was lost. Lk 19:10

We are not going too far in our boasting, as would be the case if we had not come to you, for we did get as far as you with the Gospel of Christ. Neither do we go beyond our limits by boasting of work done by others.
